First the basics; The vocal on this recording are super. Jerry just sings in your ear and you can hear everything Brent is bringing. I listen and I get
...
goosebumps and the band drives the night with that laid back river city feel. The ban d really sounds like they are having a good time. It's relaxed with all the power the dead can bring. On a more personal note, I was there it was hot but cooling off and as the sun went down the lights came up. I think there was only one more set of Expo shows that allowed camping so this marks the end of an era for many of us. Thank for posting this show it has brought me back to that dirt field I called home for three days selling beer and dancing to the Dead -C.G.

I have major hearing problems. It’s called tinnitus and for those of you who don’t know it is a constant ringing in your ears. Therefore, it is hard
...
for me to find audience shows that are of good enough quality for me to listen to without doing further damage to my ears by having to turn up the volume. I am not saying anything about these shows except that as a person with major hearing lose, these are some of the shows that I have on my I-Pod. I am not giving any of these shows a review. I can always find something good in every show…...as long as I can hear it!!!! Here is my list, by date, for today 9/20/08;

Great AUD, can't believe it hasn't been reviewed.
I saw everything in Summer '89 from Shoreline in June through this run. The band had a ton of energy, ... and this aud cathces it. I've taped FOB spaced omnis at Expo, and thoruoghly appreciate the effort. Kudos.
RFK from July is also a standard setlist, very well played.
